Job summary

Visiting Angels Jenkintown is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical support and companionship to seniors in Jenkintown and surrounding communities. You will help with daily tasks, meal prep, and mobility, while promoting independence and dignity in the home.

The role offers flexible scheduling and options for full-time or part-time work, along with benefits for eligible caregivers and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• CNA, HHA, or DC certification or equivalent caregiving experience
• 2+ years of professional caregiving experience preferred
• Valid driver\'s license and insured vehicle preferred
• Current TB test – 2-step PPD, Chest X-ray, or QuantiFERON blood test
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional and compassionate attitude
• Ability to meet company requirements and complete required documentation

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care
• Preparing meals and helping with grocery shopping
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with light housekeeping and laundry
• Supporting mobility and everyday activities
• Helping clients maintain their routines and independence
• Communicating client needs or changes with families and our office team

Skills
