Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors Brunswick Shores in-home care services seeks compassionate caregivers to help seniors remain independent at home. Caregivers provide companionship, assist with daily living tasks, transportation, and medication reminders in a respectful, patient manner.

Ideal candidates are mature, reliable, and enjoy building relationships. Minimum age 30, ability to lift 15 pounds, valid driver's license and vehicle, and a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Seniors Helping Seniors® Brunswick Shores ("SHS Brunswick Shores") in-home care services offer support for seniors who wish to remain active and independent from the comfort of home. We're looking to add to our team and are searching for mature, compassionate individuals to assist seniors in the community.

At SHS Brunswick Shores, Caregivers provide services that are integral to our overall service portfolio. Caregivers can provide companionship, light house cleaning, transportation, medication reminders, and personal care to support activities of daily living (ADL's).

What do we look for in a Caregiver?

Our senior Caregivers need to have a passion for helping seniors continue to live independently and a willingness to be trained to provide quality care.

Our Caregivers should encompass the following traits:

• Ability to relate to the aging process
• Find enjoyment helping other seniors navigate challenges that growing older can bring
• Compassionate and empathetic to the needs of the senior community
• Willing to share life stories, interests, and hobbies to build relationships

All team members must meet minimum role requirements and successfully complete the pre-employment process, including but not limited to a drug screen and background check (including MVR for those engaged in transport) prior to employment.
