Job summary

Artegan Communities is seeking a compassionate Caregiver / Resident Assistant for Apple Springs Senior Living in Washington. You will assist residents with daily living activities, support independence, and provide a caring, consistent presence across shifts.

The role emphasizes dignity, empathy, and teamwork. Responsibilities include personal care, mobility support, meal assistance, and reporting changes to the licensed nurse. A welcoming, resident-centered approach is essential to our mission.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience with elderly adults preferred.
• Caregiver certification or willingness to obtain within state-mandated timeline.
• CPR and First Aid within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene with dignity.
• Promote mobility and independence; assist with transfers and ROM exercises.
• Observe changes and report to Licensed Nurse; complete required documentation.
• Serve meals, observe eating difficulties, record intake as directed.
• Maintain neat rooms, assist with laundry, monitor safety hazards.
• Support residents with calls, personal correspondence and daily engagement.
