Job summary

Texas A&M University Career Center is seeking a Senior Career Development Specialist (Former Student Career Services) to provide advising, programming, and resources for former students and students at all career stages. The role emphasizes career planning, job search strategies, networking, interviewing, and collaboration with campus and employer partners.

The position focuses on developing innovative programs, leveraging digital tools, and building connections with the Aggie Network.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least three years in career services.
• Preferred master’s degree in student affairs or related field.
• Strong ability to multi-task, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Advises former students and current students on career exploration, planning, and job search skills.
• Develops and evaluates career education programming for a broad range of industries and career stages.
• Participates in events, workshops, and collaborations with campus partners and employers.
• Delivers content using digital tools, LMS platforms, live streaming, and online collaboration resources.
• Builds employer relationships to expand full-time, internships, and co-op opportunities.
• Supervises student employees and coordinates internal communications and program updates.
