Triangle has an immediate opening for a Senior Career Advancement Specialist at our Day Services. The role prepares adults with disabilities for meaningful careers by expanding access to competitive integrated employment, collegiate pathways, and workforce readiness opportunities.

The Senior Career Advancement Specialist delivers individualized and group-based career readiness, employment, and pathway services, while building relationships with employers and colleges.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; further education preferred.
• 1–3 years of human services job placement experience required.
• Marketing and/or sales experience is a plus.
• First Aid/CPR and Safety Care or willingness to certify.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and group-based career readiness, employment, and collegiate pathway services.
• Provide 1:1 job development, job coaching, and career planning support.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to support growth.
• Integrate independent living, self-advocacy, soft skills, and workplace readiness.
• Develop relationships with community employers and collegiate partners.
• Submit accurate daily billing and documentation using Penelope.
• Lead monthly best practice meetings with the Employment Team.
• Maintain a 35-hour per week quota.
