Job summary

William Penn Senior Suites is seeking a Wellness Director to oversee the resident care services at William Penn Care Center. You will implement and coordinate care, supervise staff, and maintain high standards of nursing practice in a long-term care setting.

Qualified applicants hold PA RN or LPN licensure, with at least 3 years in geriatrics, leadership experience, CPR certification, and strong communication and organizational skills. Flexible hours and driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN or LPN licensure.
• Experience in direct patient care and assessments.
• Experience recruiting, training, and managing healthcare staff.
• Experience at department head level in Personal Care or related field.
• CPR certified and basic first aid knowledge.
• Must complete all state required training to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Direct day-to-day functions of aides/med-techs.
• Maintain resident care records and charts.
• Lead nursing staff and coordinate with other departments.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Attend training and continuing education programs.
