Job summary

Visiting Angels Greater Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Care Specialist in Philadelphia to provide compassionate, non-medical in-home care. You will support seniors to stay independent at home, with duties ranging from companionship to daily living tasks.

Join a team that values caregivers, offers flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth; all applicants must provide proof of vaccination and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• CNA, HHA, or DC-certified caregivers or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Valid driver’s license & insured vehicle preferred.
• Current TB Test – 2-step PPD, Chest X-ray, or QuantiFERON blood test.
• Dependable and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with meal preparation and grocery shopping
• Helping with light housekeeping and laundry
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, and personal care
• Supporting mobility and daily routines
• Providing medication reminders
• Communicating with clients, families, and our office team
