Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services in Southern Pines, NC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents with swallowing disorders and communication impairments. You will work with a team to deliver evidence-based therapy and tailor plans to individual needs.

You will have a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays, generous benefits including medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k), PTO with rollover, licensure reimbursement, CEUs, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement speech pathology programs based on a full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one-on-one with private sessions and functional-based approaches.
