Qualifications

  • Prepared through education and experience to oversee HR needs of the home.
  • Experience in residential services to seniors or personnel management preferred.
  • Ability to recruit, hire, orient and manage employee performance and discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment efforts and staffing to meet resident care needs.
  • Coordinate hiring paperwork, background checks and payroll setup.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and ongoing staff training.
  • Create and post staff schedules, control overtime within budget.
  • Maintain confidential employee records per licensing and regulations.
  • Administer employee discipline and performance reviews with managers.
  • Coordinate safety training and incident reporting with operations.
  • Act as liaison between managers and staff to ensure clear communication.
  • Represent the home at community events and networking opportunities.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate record keeping.
