Job summary

Home Instead in the greater Philadelphia area is hiring a Care Pro Lead for full-time home care across Philadelphia and Montgomery County. The role supports older adults in their homes, with 40 guaranteed hours per week, Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, and pays $20.00–$22.50 per hour.

You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, dementia and end-of-life support, and mentor other caregivers while ensuring high-quality, reliable care.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional caregiving experience, non-family, or active CNA/HHA/LPN/RN credential.
• Experience with personal care, transfers, dementia care, and end-of-life support.
• Calm, confident, and professional in changing or challenging care situations.
• Strong communication with clients, families, staff and fellow caregivers.
• Willingness to guide and support other caregivers when needed.
• Able to use a smartphone scheduling and care documentation app.
• Basic English reading, writing, and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, professional care to older adults in their homes.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, transfers, companionship, meals and routines.
• Support clients with dementia and end-of-life care needs.
• Help with new client starts for a smooth care experience.
• Step in for urgent or last-minute shifts to prevent gaps in care.
• Review care plans and visit notes to understand needs and preferences.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, office staff, and caregivers.
• Provide hands-on support and guidance to other caregivers when needed.
