Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. You will provide high-quality therapy services to seniors in skilled nursing and long-term care settings, implementing treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist.

You will help improve residents’ function, independence, and quality of life while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut PTA license is required.
• Experience in geriatric patient care preferred.
• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans.
• Conduct therapeutic interventions for seniors in skilled nursing/long-term care.
• Document patient progress and communicate changes to the PT.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and therapists to support resident outcomes.
