Applicants must hold active RDCS or RCS certification, with BLS within 30 days of hire. This role includes on-call responsibilities and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifikationen

• Active certification in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS or RCS) required or equivalent.
• Must maintain current certification and continuing education.
• Graduate from an approved program preferred, but not required.

Aufgaben

• Perform inpatient and outpatient adult echocardiograms (and neonatal where applicable) per IAC guidelines.
• Provide timely preliminary findings to reading cardiologist.
• Maintain documentation in EMR and PACS with accurate charges.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety; communicate empathetically.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in on-call rotations and training of staff.
