Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Cardiac/Vascular Ultrasound Sonographer for the Heart and Vascular Center. The role performs cardiac and vascular ultrasounds, interprets results, and coordinates the daily schedule under HVC leadership.

Qualified candidates should hold RDCS or RCS, RVT for vascular ultrasound, BLS, and CME requirements, with an associate degree and certification. The position may involve assignment to various HVC locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited School of Diagnostic Sonography or allied health program with further 12 months DM Sonography instruction.
• Cardiac and vascular imaging proficiency; registered or eligible.
• Familiarity with CPACS patient data entry and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality ultrasound exams following routine protocols.
• Provide compassionate patient care ensuring safety and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate medical records and schedule coordination.
• Keep current with required certifications and hospital training modules.
