Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology.
• Certification from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
• ACLS certification required.
• Must have CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Cleared from criminal and child abuse background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Invasive Cardiologist during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Maintain expertise in radiographic imagery techniques for cardiac procedures.
• Orient and train inexperienced staff on laboratory equipment operation.
• Anticipate and respond to adverse reactions during procedures.
• Documentation of procedures according to regulatory and billing standards.
