Job summary

Huxley is seeking a Senior Capital Markets Sales Technology Lead with deep expertise in equity derivatives to guide the development of tools that empower our distribution and sales teams in New York.

You will partner with the equity derivatives business to design scalable systems, own core platforms, and drive reliability across production environments while mentoring engineers and collaborating with compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years in a capital markets or financial services environment.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and Java; ability to own full-stack delivery across both.
• Deep understanding of equity derivatives products (including structured notes, autocallables, barrier options, and equity-linked products).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with FIX or other financial messaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of sales technology solutions for equity derivatives and structured products distribution.
• Architect and own a scalable order management system (OMS) for equity derivatives across booking, execution, and settlement.
• Build integrations with vendor platforms (SIMON, Luma, Evooq, OTCX, Halo, CAIS) for distribution, lifecycle, and reporting.
• Drive adoption of digital distribution channels and self-service tooling for internal and external clients.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure reliability of production systems.
