Job summary

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or greater and 6 years of sworn law enforcement officer experience or an associate degree and 8 years of sworn law enforcement officer experience.
• 3 years of supervisory experience at least at the level of Police Sergeant or higher.
• Current certification from NC CJETSC or eligibility within the specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line supervision of law enforcement officers and staff, including assigning and delegating work, monitoring operations, and ensuring coverage.
• Coordinate and provide a broad range of law enforcement services including patrol, investigations, and records management.
• Develop and implement plans to ensure effective delivery of law enforcement services and departmental goals.
