Compass Group USA is hiring a Senior Catering Captain at the University of Idaho in Moscow. This full-time role oversees the Catering Department, supervises staff, and ensures high-quality service at functions.

Paid hourly with potential for overtime, the position requires leadership experience in catering and a valid food handler’s permit where required. Schedules vary across days, and the job includes responsibilities such as delivering, setting up, and maintaining food safety and sanitation

Formación

• A valid driver's license and food handler's permit / alcohol servers permit as required by state law.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises Catering Department employees and assists in performance appraisals.
• Determines workload from catering orders.
• Meets with function group leaders to discuss setup and address changes.
• Assemblies and delivers food and supplies to scheduled functions.
• Returns food, beverages, equipment and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards at catered functions.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment and work area.
• Cleans equipment and workstation after shifts.
• Interacts with customers to resolve concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Follows sanitation and safety practices in handling food and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
