Job summary

BlockReel in Miami is seeking a Senior Camera Operator for an upcoming independent production. The shoot spans three days in November 2026, with 10-hour days, focusing on testimonial and interview-style videos for a tech startup.

You’ll bring your own camera package (preferably Arri Alexa Mini) plus lighting and grip kits, and work with the DP to craft a polished look. Candidates should have 5+ years in corporate/commercial video, solid lighting knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in corporate or commercial video production.
• Strong understanding of lighting principles for interview and product shots.
• Excellent communication skills on set.

Responsibilities

• Operate the A-cam and manage camera department logistics.
• Collaborate with the Director of Photography to achieve the desired visual aesthetic.
• On-set coordination for a 3-day, 10-hour/day shoot in Miami.
