Senior Calypso QA Analyst – OTC Derivatives

Job summary

Luxoft Germany seeks a Senior Quality Analyst to join a client’s QA team for the Calypso-based OTC derivative platform. You will contribute to test analysis, design and execution across end-to-end trade lifecycle, with focus on IRD and Fixed Income settlement validation, EOD batches and release testing.

You will validate data integrity, set up market data and test automation, while coordinating with BA, development, platform and operations teams to ensure smooth cloud migration testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ to 10+ years QA/testing experience in capital markets with Calypso exposure.
• Strong hands-on functional/configuration knowledge of Calypso.
• Tests across Swaps, Bonds, Repo products and end-to-end trade lifecycle.
• Experience with test design, execution, and defect management in release cycles.
• Ability to analyze test failures and reconcile data to root cause.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute and maintain functional, regression and UAT test cases for Calypso.
• Validate end-to-end trade lifecycle for Interest Rate and Fixed Income products.
• Automated trade booking and re-booking to validate workflows and data integrity.
• Validate market data inputs, pricing impacts and P&L alignment.
• Test EOD and batch processing; verify outputs, reports and extracts.
• Reconcile trades and reports between Calypso and related systems.
• Raise defects with evidence and drive triage to closure.
• Build and run automated regression packs using CATT where applicable.
• Support test planning, release sign-off and Change-Request coverage.
• Collaborate with platform engineering on Calypso cloud migration testing.
