Visa Hunt seeks a Senior Claims Examiner – Workers' Compensation (California) to investigate and settle advanced, large-loss claims with minimal supervision, applying industry best practices.

You will review coverages, determine liability/compensability, collect essential information, and settle claims while supporting litigation with supervisors and defense attorneys. Mentorship and training contributions are expected.

Qualifications

• SIP certification is required.
• Proven experience handling California Workers' Compensation claims.
• Experience managing advanced, large-loss, and complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and settle advanced, large-loss, and complex claims promptly with minimal supervision.
• Review coverages, determine liability/compensability, collect statements, and settle claims using best practices.
• Evaluate and set reserves using independent judgment; support litigation with supervisors and defense attorneys.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to team development through training.
