Job summary

Responsibilities include calibration, verification, maintenance, data collection, and communication of results to customers and stakeholders while adhering to safety and laboratory procedures. Requires 3+ years of calibration experience, an AA degree or PMEL training, and strong math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of calibration experience.
• Minimum AA degree, formal PMEL training, or equivalent.
• Strong mathematical, statistical and algebraic capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with MS Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, verification, adjustment, and preventive maintenance of measurement equipment.
• Maintain calibration standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair precision equipment.
• Collect, record, and summarize data during calibration.
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective actions per policies.
• Communicate calibration results and recommendations to customers and stakeholders.
• Follow safety, quality, and laboratory procedures.
