Autoliv United States is seeking a CAE Inflators Senior Engineer to perform advanced finite element analysis and highly dynamic simulations to support inflator and initiator designs. The role involves developing models, software scripts (Modern Fortran), and improving simulation methodologies; collaborating with global CAE teams, customers, and suppliers to deliver projects on time.

Requirements include a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of CAE/FEA experience with LS-DYNA

Formación

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of CAE/FEA experience with LS-DYNA and HyperWorks.
• Proficiency in engineering programming and scripting (Fortran/C++/Scilab).
• CAD experience with CATIA/SolidWorks; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CAE analysis of inflator and initiator components under static and dynamic loading to support development and validation.
• Develop, maintain and enhance material models, methodologies and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Create and maintain computational scripts and software (Modern Fortran) to support routine and advanced functions.
• Collaborate with global CAE teams, customers and suppliers to solve technical challenges and deliver projects on time.
• Drive continuous improvement, develop new simulation processes and promote a strong safety culture.
