Clymer Farner Barley (CFB) is seeking a dedicated and experienced CAD Professional to join our Engineering team in Orlando/Winter Park, Florida. The role focuses on land development, utilities, transportation, and infrastructure, requiring AutoCAD Civil 3D expertise, strong drafting standards, and mentorship of junior staff.

You will work independently on complex drawings, collaborate with engineers and project managers, and contribute to high-profile civil projects across Florida.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive civil engineering production experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and drafting standards.
• Thorough understanding of civil engineering drafting standards, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and collaboration with team members.
• Prior experience mentoring junior staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex permitting and construction plans, details, and maps for civil projects.
• Apply AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop accurate deliverables.
• Perform QC reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior CAD technicians.
• Work independently with minimal oversight and initiative.
• Identify solutions to technical challenges and contribute to process improvement.
• Serve as a technical resource and CAD team leader.
