Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc in Illinois seeks an experienced CAD designer to support multiple disciplines and offices by drafting plans and reviewing drawings under supervision. You will interpret redlines and ensure conformance to design criteria while building cross-divisional relationships and providing HELIX support.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years CAD design experience in oil/chemical manufacturing or related field, a High School Diploma (associates preferred) and proficiency in AutoCAD

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred.
10+ years CAD designer experience in oil/chemical manufacturing or related field.
Proficient in AutoCAD 2020+ and FastLook.
Experienced in reading and creating technical CAD drawings.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Review drawings from various disciplines before drafting.
Understand project scope, specs and design criteria.
Interpret redline instructions on marked up drawings.
Draft plans using design and drafting standards under supervision.
Develop cross-divisional relationships and provide HELIX support under supervision.
