Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer seeks a Senior CAD/BIM Designer to support staff engineers in designing and producing contract documents for water, wastewater, and pump station facility projects.

This in-person role collaborates with multiple disciplines, ensures CAD standard compliance, and oversees contract drawing submittals with technical rigor and coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design experience with water and/or wastewater projects required.
• Associate degree in Architectural or Engineering Technology, or a four-year degree, preferred.
• Technical school CAD design certificate will be considered.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk FORMA, formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D preferred.
• Ability to develop layouts from process and instrumentation diagrams with minimal oversight, including preliminary structural and architectural layouts to enclose and protect process systems.
• Detail-oriented self-starter with experience collaborating across disciplines.

Work Setting

In-person (All in office/field)

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with structural, architectural, HVAC, electrical, I&C, and site civil disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
