Join to apply for the Senior Cabinetry Estimator Project Manager (FT) role at ProCraft Cabinetry, Inc.

ProCraft Cabinetry, LLC is looking for a Senior Estimator Project Manager to focus on construction/custom cabinetry by generating custom 2020 layouts and elevations. The candidates must compete with high-end residential and multi-family home builders. This position requires design drawings, reviewing estimate requests, communicating with vendors, budgeting, reporting, and escalating to management on the project. The estimator will work closely with the team to source, accurately price, and win local, regional, and national signage and fixture projects for the company. We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Senior Cabinetry Project Manager to lead our project teams and ensure the successful execution of our projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • High self-motivation with the ability to anticipate; demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Coordinate estimates from Subcontractors.
  • Communicate with the project manager, vendors, and other departmental personnel to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
  • Work with sales personnel to design and develop kitchen layouts within the parameters of the client’s space and budget.
  • Negotiate and issue purchase orders and contracts, price.
  • Must be proficient in estimating tools and procedures in drawings, specifications, supplier quotations, engineering standards, and other information to provide material takeoffs and cost estimates.
  • Systematic and logical problem-solving skills. Open-mindedness and creative thinking.
  • Can adapt to ever-changing priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and root cause countermeasure capabilities.
  • Solid working knowledge of the construction/general contracting sector of business.
  • Have basic or experienced knowledge of cabinetry construction.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Excel and other takeoff software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Using Adobe, and AutoCAD for drawing, and 2D/3D modeling.
  • 2020 Interior Design software.
  • Solid knowledge of the kitchen & bath design process.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with contractors and homeowners.
  • Open-mindedness and creative thinking.
  • Reading blueprints, floor plans, and cabinet layouts.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multifamily projects and priorities.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degrees in engineering, Architecture, and Construction Management are preferred, or related field experience is required (or equivalent work experience).
  • Demonstrated project management experience.

Experience:

  • At five years experience as an estimator, architect, or related position, preferably in cabinetry, construction, or a related area.

Pay: USD 80,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually plus commissions (depending on experience)

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, starting 8 am to 5 pm.
