Job summary

Renew Medic seeks a Cabinet Maker to lead the fabrication of high-quality cabinet boxes and drawers in a fast-paced shop, coordinating with the production manager, field technicians, finishers, and the General Manager to meet production timelines.

You will ensure safety, maintain clean workspaces, select materials, identify wood species, perform precise joinery, and prep components for finishing while promoting a collaborative culture on-site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building cabinetry or furniture or trim.
• Experience with wood working equipment including saws and routers.
• Strict adherence to safety.
• Extremely attentive to detail.
• Extremely organized.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, build, repair, assemble, disassemble, and clean cabinetry and components.
• Occasionally assist field technicians with on-site removals, installations, pickups, and deliveries.
• Supervise other Cabinet Maker 1 & 2’s.
• Daily communication flow with lead technicians, production manager, and general manager.
• Ensure documentation from technicians and production staff supports correct work.
• Follow all safety protocols and keep workspace clean and organized.
• Utilize cabinet building equipment and machinery.
• Keep inventory of materials and communicate needs to production manager.
• Work in both workshop and on-site customer environments.
• Proper sanding of solid and veneered wood cabinet surfaces.
• Identify wood species, colors, materials, and grain patterns.
• Prepare components for finishing team and ensure records are accurate.
