This direct-hire role requires 3+ years in workers’ compensation claims, deep knowledge of the California Labor Code, and SIP certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex CA workers’ compensation indemnity claims from start to finish.
• Conduct timely 3-point contact and establish compensability.
• Collaborate with medical case managers to support return-to-work outcomes.
• Handle litigation strategy and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Set and manage reserves; approve medical and rehab expenses.
• Identify subrogation and fraud opportunities.
