Job summary

MITRE seeks a senior technical leader for the C5ISRT mission space within the N223 department. The role focuses on operational expertise in kinetic and non-kinetic technologies, engaging government sponsors, and shaping MITRE work to accelerate integration of advanced solutions for warfighter needs.

The position requires active TS/SCI clearance, strong communication, and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, high-security environment across government and MITRE teams in the Washington, DC

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years with a Master’s; or PhD with 5 years of experience.
• Experience with TS/SCI clearance.
• Proven leadership in kinetic and non-kinetic technology solutions for C5ISRT operations.
• Track record of delivering relevant, impactful technical products in a team setting.
• Ability to recruit, organize, supervise, and motivate technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as operational subject-matter expert and strategic work shaper for C5ISRT efforts.
• Lead government sponsor engagement and MITRE project delivery.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables with peer reviews and proper archiving.
• Collaborate across MITRE and government to align warfighting systems with agile processes.
• Work in classified spaces (TS/SCI) and coordinate with government facilities.
