Job summary

CLOUD ANALYTICS TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a skilled embedded software engineer in the Dallas area. The role emphasizes C++ (C++11/14/17), Embedded C, and hands-on work with Embedded Linux (Yocto/Buildroot or similar).

You will work on devices like set-top boxes, IPTV/OTT platforms, smart TVs, DVRs, routers, or IoT gateways. Candidates should have strong knowledge of Linux internals, device drivers, file systems, multithreading, sockets, and network protocols, plus proven debugging and performance

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C++11/14/17 in embedded contexts.
• Hands-on work with Embedded Linux (Yocto, Buildroot, or similar).
• Experience with set-top boxes, IPTV/OTT platforms, smart TVs, DVRs, routers, or IoT gateways.
• Solid understanding of Linux internals, kernel concepts, device drivers, and file systems.
• Experience with multithreading, sockets, and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP).
• Strong debugging and performance analysis skills.

Strong proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17) and Embedded C

Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux (Yocto, Buildroot, or similar)

Experience with set-top boxes, IPTV/OTT platforms, smart TVs, DVRs, routers, IoT gateways, or similar embedded devices

Solid understanding of Linux internals, kernel concepts, device drivers, and file systems

Experience with multithreading, synchronization, sockets, and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP)

Strong debugging and performance analysis skills
