Job summary
Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking a software engineer for air and missile defense radar tracking. You design and implement advanced tracking algorithms, and develop high-performance, real-time software that processes radar data and tracks dozens to hundreds of targets.
You will collaborate with radar engineers, optimize for milliseconds-scale decisions, and contribute to end-to-end defense systems.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience in tracking or defense software.
- Strong C++ and Python programming skills.
- Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math/Physics or related field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile threats.
- Develop high-performance, real-time software that processes radar data for many targets.
- Build modeling & simulation environments to validate tracking performance.
- Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate solutions.
- Optimize tracking software for low-latency, high-throughput operation.
- Communicate technical trade-offs to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to ensure deployment.
