Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II in Irvine, CA to develop backend systems using C#/.NET, AWS, and AI coding tools. You will contribute to scalable, high-quality software across LoopNet and other brands, help with architecture decisions, and mentor engineers.

You'll work onsite four days a week with one day remote, partnering with product and data teams to deliver robust solutions and improve delivery speed using modern AI-assisted development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 4+ years of production development experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Proven history of building and launching successful products and platforms.
• Experience delivering products that meet specifications and SLAs.
• Strong experience writing unit, performance, and automated tests.
• Experience building APIs and backend systems with solid software design principles.
