Hunter Bond in Chicago is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its options trading team. You will design and build data-intensive desktop applications using C#/.NET and collaborate with quantitative researchers, traders and technologists in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes architecture, testing, deployment and production support, with a focus on performance, memory usage and concurrency to back test and execute trading strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience building C#/.NET desktop apps.
• Understanding of C# UI development and tooling.
• Experience with concurrency and performance profiling is a plus.
• Trading/financial markets experience is advantageous but not required.
