Job summary

J&T is seeking a Buyer / Senior Buyer to partner with the Purchasing Team and external vendors to meet production schedules, reduce costs, and maintain high inventory accuracy. The role uses ERP/MRP systems to ensure uninterrupted material flow for active production lines and client commitments.

You will purchase raw materials, components, and services, collaborate with Program Management, manage MRO orders, expedite POs, and help hit annual inventory KPIs while protecting program margins.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain in manufacturing or electronics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with MRP/ERP platforms (Infor preferred) and MS Office.
• Strong negotiation, prioritization, problem-solving, and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials, components, and services to fulfill scheduling needs.
• Collaborate with Program Management to oversee supply chain activities across accounts.
• Manage MRO purchase orders and monitor consigned material inventory.
• Expedite and confirm open POs to prevent shortages and optimize turns.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and negotiate favorable vendor terms.
