Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises and participates in receiving, reviewing, and approving purchase requisitions, proposed contracts, and invoices for completeness and conformity to regulations.
• Checks to ensure that product and service specifications are sufficiently broad to cover all qualified bidders.
• Selects the method of soliciting bids considering policies and values involved.
• Supervises and participates in negotiating purchases through bids.
• Analyzes and recommends award of bid.
• Conducts procurement training for staff.
• Assigns and supervises the work of subordinate staff including training and performance reviews.
