Job summary

Marmon Holdings, Inc. is looking for a Senior Buyer to drive the evolution of the purchasing organization toward a standardized, automated procurement process in Carol Stream, IL. You’ll collaborate with IT, Supply Chain, and suppliers to enhance processes and increase efficiency through automation.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement and a strong understanding of ERP systems. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Procurement.
• Experience leading procurement transformation or automation initiatives.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation of purchasing processes toward automation and digital workflows.
• Drive adoption of supplier portals and automated order confirmations.
• Analyze procurement workflows for opportunities for efficiency.

Skills

Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes

Experience with ERP systems (Infor LN, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)

Knowledge of workflow automation and digital procurement tools

Strong analytical and data management skills

Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities

Understanding of EDI/API integrations

Tools

Power BI or similar analytics tools
