Epic is seeking a procurement professional to manage equipment and supplies for our culinary department based in Madison, WI. The role involves establishing relationships with vendors, supporting sourcing needs for large industrial appliances, small wares, and consumables, and collaborating with culinary and facilities teams.
You will work toward optimizing quality, sustainability, and cost, with relocation assistance and opportunities for annual raises, bonuses, and stock grants.
Please note that this position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.
Play a key role in the procurement for our culinary department including large industrial appliances and merchandising equipment, as well as small wares like spatulas, whisks, and plates and large quantities of food and consumables. The Epic culinary department serves around 12,000 meals per day to our customers, staff, and visitors. We regularly update and expand our culinary facilities to support our daily menus featuring a variety of regional, international, and seasonal offerings, producing continuous sourcing needs.
In addition to collaborating with our chefs and other stakeholders (including catering, events, facilities, and accounting teams), you will establish, develop, and maintain relationships with a variety of vendors. We prioritize sourcing locally whenever possible and work with purveyors from local farmers to national wholesalers to strike the right balance between quality, sustainability, and cost.
