Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Senior Buyer for its New Hope, Mississippi operation to drive strategic sourcing, supplier management and cost reductions in a highly regulated aerospace and defense environment.

Responsibilities include managing RFQs and POs, ensuring material availability, and collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Production to meet regulatory requirements and production schedules. 5+ years of procurement experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in aerospace/defense.
• Strong strategic sourcing and supplier-management background.
• Proven cost-reduction experience across materials and components.
• Experience managing RFQs, POs, supplier performance and lead times.
• Knowledge of ITAR, DFARS and FAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, qualify and develop suppliers based on quality, cost and delivery.
• Develop and execute sourcing initiatives to improve cost, lead times and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, lead times and commercial agreements.
• Manage end-to-end procurement for assigned categories and ensure material availability.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production and Supply Chain to ensure compliance and availability.
