Job summary

Terumo Europe NV is seeking a Senior Buyer to join our Global Business Services Indirect Sourcing team. You will manage indirect procurement across production sites in Belgium and Germany, lead supplier negotiations, develop cost-improvement initiatives and support procurement excellence across the organisation.

You will build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, drive savings, monitor performance via SLAs/KPIs, and contribute to budgeting for spend categories, while traveling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain management.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing suppliers and commercial contracts.
• Good knowledge of Dutch, German and English.
• Continuous improvement mindset and strong business acumen.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (Leverkusen).

You’ll join our Global Business Services team focussing on providing consistent services across the Terumo Group with a focus on harmonising and streamlining processes to improve the overall effectiveness of our Procure to Pay frame. Our GBS team combines Accounting and Procurement teams.

In this role, you will manage indirect procurement categories supporting our production sites in Belgium and Germany. More concretely you'll provide support towards soft facilities, energy, marketing, waste & professional services.
