Job summary

TERREPOWER in Orlando, FL is seeking a Senior Buyer to ensure on-time delivery of aftermarket and production products. You will collaborate to improve forecasting, fulfillment efficiency, and supplier relationships to meet operational goals.

Reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain, you will manage ERP and MRP workflows, drive procurement activities, and monitor inventory and supplier performance to maintain smooth supply lines for remanufacturing.

Senior Buyer

Senior Buyer: Terrepower is seeking a Senior Buyer to work out of our Orlando office. The Senior Buyer is responsible for the on-time delivery of all aftermarket and production products. Key success factors for the Senior Buyer will be ensuring timely delivery, improving forecasting and fulfillment efficiency, and driving improved supplier relationships to meet operational goals. Collaborate with team members and management to build strong forecasts and solid supply lines into all areas of the aftermarket and remanufacturing business.

This role will report to Vice President of Supply Chain

• Monitor expenditures on purchases of materials to ensure cost controls are in place and remain within budget amounts.
• Maintain compliance all with Federal, State, and Local laws, statutes, and regulations, as well as all Company policies and procedures.

Preferred Experience:

• At least 3 years of supplier management experience in a fast paced, high-performing, industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of Just In Time delivery process and ordering
• Experience with KPI’s, Lean, Continuous improvement and EHS principles.
• Knowledge/ability to develop Standard Operating Procedures, and drive discipline to adhere to.

Other:

• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Walking in the warehouse and around area with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter mile in length.
• Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
