Job summary

Qnergy Inc is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead strategic procurement for materials, components, and services supporting manufacturing operations. The role focuses on building supplier relationships, negotiating favorable contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality inputs.

You will collaborate with Purchasing Leadership to develop sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers, manage inventory, and mentor junior staff while driving cost efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 7–10 years of procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with global sourcing and international trade regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Purchasing Leadership to develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best values for the company.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure materials meet specifications and production requirements.
• Manage inventory levels to optimize stock and reduce excess inventory.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and potential new suppliers.
• Prepare and present procurement reports and analysis to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Mentor and train junior procurement staff.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
