Job summary

LBMC’s Nashville office seeks a Business Valuation Senior Analyst. You will conduct valuations for marital dissolution, gifts, and estate tax planning, reviewing financials to create reports used in mediation and trial. You’ll guide engagements, mentor staff, and expand LBMC’s family of services.

You’ll work with a seasoned team, apply advanced modeling, and stay current with industry guidance while serving sophisticated clients in a visible role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• Completion of or working towards ABV/ASA/AM/CFA preferred.
• 3+ years in business valuation or FP&A.
• Experience with option pricing modeling for earnouts/stock-based comp is a plus.
• Advanced Monte Carlo modeling experience is preferred.
• ASC 805 purchase price allocations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Valuate marital dissolutions, gifts, and estate tax planning for family law engagements.
• Review financial documents and distill data into reporting tools for mediation or trial.
• Determine engagement objectives and resource mix to meet client needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with client stakeholders and external professionals.
• Identify opportunities to expand LBMC services to other practice areas.
• Serve as client consultant from scope to timeline planning and delivery.
• Perform diversified FVS assignments using financial models and templates.
• Data collection from internal/external sources (S&P Capital IQ, govt data) and market research.
• Develop technical valuation skills and apply to client work.
• Mentor Staff Analysts toward progression to manager level.
• Adhere to LBMC processes and professional conduct.
