Job summary

CTG, a Cegeka company, seeks a Business Systems Analyst IV in Buffalo, NY. You will lead complex projects, gather requirements with stakeholders, and develop functional specifications for enterprise applications.

Responsibilities include coordinating testing (UAT), maintaining documentation, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk controls are observed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of five years of combined higher education and/or operational or business analytics experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, and issue-resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to analyze business requirements, document functional specifications, coordinate testing, and manage competing project priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex to complex projects from proposal through implementation and post-implementation review.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to gather requirements and develop functional specifications.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including functional specs, test plans, and data mappings.
• Serve as the functional lead for assigned applications, coordinating meetings, estimates, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Analyze business processes, data, and system integrations to assess impact of changes and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and execute system testing including UAT to validate requirements and defects.
• Monitor scope, requirements, risks, and compliance with technology standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Mentor less experienced staff in application training, research, analysis, and project methodologies.
• Adhere to risk management policies and audit requirements while promoting collaboration and inclusivity.
