Job summary

Liberty Diversified International (LDI) in New Hope, MN, seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst focused on Power BI to shape and advance the BI portfolio across the enterprise. You will drive design, delivery, and data modeling for scalable, high-quality data solutions enabling data-driven decisions.

You will partner with business leaders to translate complex requirements into insights, mentor junior analysts, and promote data governance and self-service analytics across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, data analytics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related field, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, such as data modeling, DAX, performance optimization, and dashboard design.
• Strong experience with SQL and working within the Microsoft data ecosystem.
• Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous data into concrete insights.
• Experience in designing and supporting data warehouse structures.
• Strong understanding of data governance and data quality.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
• Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced team members.
• Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate to source, transform, and integrate data from multiple systems.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise data.
• Lead efforts to expand and enhance the data warehouse.
• Establish and promote data governance standards, including data quality, definitions, security, and report lifecycle management.
• Influence and drive adoption of BI tools and self-service analytics.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and power users.
• Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and training materials.
• Stay current with emerging technologies within the Microsoft Power Platform and broader analytics ecosystem, recommending improvements where appropriate.
• Participate in cross-functional projects as a BI and data subject matter expert.

Description As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, focusing on Power BI Reports and Dashboards, you will play a key role in shaping and advancing the Business Intelligence platform across the LDI family of companies. You will drive the design and delivery of scalable, high-quality data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across a growing and diverse enterprise.

This role requires both strong technical expertise and business acumen. You will partner closely with business leaders to translate complex requirements into actionable insights, helping the organization better understand performance, identify opportunities, and drive strategic outcomes.

The position reports to the Manager Business Systems and is based at our corporate headquarters in New Hope, M innesota .

P REFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Informatica, or similar ETL/data movement tool.
• Process improvement and project management methods and tools.
• Experience working in a Shared Services model which supports diverse businesses.
• Experience leveraging AI capabilities within Power BI for data modeling, analytics, and insight generation
• ERP systems and other business systems.

C O MPENSATION & BENEFITS

The starting base salary range for this position is $ 101,460 - $126,824 per year . The compensation posted is the anticipated pay for the position at the time of the posting. We may pay above or below posted amount based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and/or certifications, skills, experience, or work location. Some positions may qualify for additional compensation in the form of bonuses.
