Job summary

Centene Corporation seeks an experienced Business Architect to lead the transformation of our business strategy, ensuring deliverables are met through design, execution, and value realization.

You will partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities, assess requirements, document gaps, and establish governance across core business models, including value streams and capabilities. This role supports strategic initiatives and process improvements with a focus on measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years in Business Architecture, Business Analysis, and Business Design.
• Experience with Business Architecture Frameworks preferred.
• Workshop facilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement.

Position Purpose

Supports the goals and outcomes of the organization by leading the transformation of our business strategy. Ensures deliverables are met, by assisting with design, execution, and value estimation and realization for initiatives.

• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
• Drive assessment of business requirements against existing offerings and capabilities to identify and document gaps
• Evaluate, assess, and design solutions
• Assist in value estimation, cost-benefit analysis, and business case creation
• Establish and maintain business architecture governance
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
• Coordinate across business and delivery groups to ensure timely completion of key deliverables to include the launch of new offerings, capabilities and the implementation of process improvements
• Collaborate with partners to define and manage the project scope, conduct requirements analysis, and execute on projects
• Create and maintain core business architecture models, such as value streams, business capabilities, information maps, and strategy trees
• Lead workshops, gather ideas, evaluate processes, and gather intelligence
• Track and trend predicted business value versus actual value and business outcomes
• Advise senior leadership on business strategies
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field required. 5+ years Business Architecture, Business Analysis, Business Design required. Experience with Business Architecture Frameworks preferred. Workshop Facilitation preferred

Licenses/Certifications

Business Architecture Certification preferred

Pay Range: $107,700.00 - $199,300.00 per year
