Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Journeyman Business Operations Manager to support USAF Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, and DoD-experienced professionals.

This is a full-time, salaried position with responsibilities spanning program planning, budgeting, and lifecycle governance. Qualified candidates will have a related degree and several years of DoD experience, with strong written and verbal communication

Qualifications

Must be a US Citizen
Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD

Responsibilities

Assimilate information quickly, communicate effectively, and remain organized to monitor progress toward taskings and initiatives.
Use knowledge of DoD DoDI 5000.2 and Air Force relationships to provide strategic and tactical program planning.
Carry out program integration tasks like developing, tracking, and updating roadmaps and schedules for a large multi-program portfolio.
Work proactively with minimal supervision and communicate effectively in writing and speech.
Track portfolio expenditures, spend plan development, and build documentation for financial requirements processes.
Use process improvement to inform business operations, manpower, and internal resource utilization.
Draft documents for leadership approval and signature.
Coordinate, document, monitor, and support meetings and conferences.
