Overview

The A.C.Coy Company is seeking a Sr. BI Analyst to lead the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions that enable effective data utilization for informed decision-making. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA with hybrid in-office expectations. Local applicants only. Full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and development of complex BI solutions to meet business requirements.


• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical specifications.


• Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of data models and ETL processes.


• Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior BI developers and analysts.


• Evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies to enhance BI capabilities.


• Ensuring data quality and integrity across all BI solutions.


• Creating and upholding comprehensive documentation for BI processes and solutions.


• Participating in strategic planning and roadmap development for BI initiatives.


• Improving the performance and efficiency of BI applications through tuning and optimization techniques.


• Working with cross-functional teams to integrate BI solutions with other systems.


• Providing expertise in data visualization and dashboard development.

Required

• 8+ years of relevant Business Intelligence experience.


• Strong expertise with SQL and SQL Server, including SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS.


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to meet with business leaders to understand and document reporting requirements.


• Experience building and enhancing data cubes.

Preferred

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.


• Experience with MDX and MDAX querying languages.


• Background in Accounting/Finance.
