Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Immigration Attorney (Business Immigration) in Los Angeles, CA on-site for a permanent role. The firm handles employment-based immigration, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, and EB immigrant filings, with a global footprint across the US, Europe, and Asia.

Qualifications

• Active law license in good standing and eligibility to practice immigration law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Substantial experience handling employment based immigration matters, including nonimmigrant visa categories (such as H 1B, L 1, O 1, and TN) and immigrant visa / green card processes (PERM, EB 1, EB 2, EB 3)
• Direct experience managing a caseload independently, including client counseling, strategy development, and government filings
• Strong working knowledge of global immigration considerations and cross border mobility issues is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to business clients and HR stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, including serving as a trusted advisor rather than a transactional resource
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with comfort managing multiple client matters and deadlines simultaneously
• A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in mentoring junior attorneys and legal staff
• Prior experience in a law firm environment focused on corporate or business immigration strongly preferred
