HarbourVest Partners is seeking a Senior Business Analyst - Workday to join our IT team in a hybrid role in the United States. The role focuses on supporting Workday Core HCM modules, upgrades, integrations, and collaborations with HR and IT teams across multiple functions.

A strong background in Workday and enterprise HR systems is essential. You will participate in annual cycle events, implement system enhancements, and contribute to the product roadmap while engaging with diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Work with HR & internal IT Team Members (including contractors and vendor management) to Support Workday Core HCM Modules: Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Benefits, Performance Management, & Learning.
• Required Workday module experience: Payroll, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, & Learning
• Preferred Workday module experience: Recruiting, Absence, & Performance Management
• Collaborate with team members with a positive and proactive attitude to understand business needs and explore ways to build, deliver and enhance technology solutions and operational processes.
• Develop and maintain Workday configuration and integrations.
• Manage system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring successful implementation.
• Offer continuous assistance and guidance for Workday applications.
• Collaborates optimally with diverse roles and teams, both in person and remote to achieve collective goals.
• Work with HR & internal IT Team Members (including contractors and vendor management) to Support Workday Core HCM Modules: Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Benefits, Performance Management, & Learning.
• Partner with HR to Support Annual Cycle Events – Open Enrollment, Year End Merit & Performance Cycles.
• Assist in Workday Bi- Annual Upgrades – ensure accuracy of test scripts, participate in testing, and partner with HR to prepare for release date.
• Configure Global Business Processes & Implement WD System Enhancements and Improvements
• Participate and Support Annual external audit with our EY audit partner.
• Partner with Integration Technical Lead to support integrations as needed & EIB Uploads.
• Contribute to Workday product roadmap development and delivery to achieve strategic business objectives.

Requirements

• Proven capabilities and experience in three or more of the following areas: Applications Development, Business Process and Workflow Management, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Systems Support.
• Experience with Agile software development, traditional project management, and Six Sigma methodologies and techniques.
• Experience related to implementation and management of enterprise HR applications.
• Ability to collaborate successfully and creatively across functions to understand business priorities and provide technology solutions to meet the needs
• Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
• Demonstrate high level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience translating business and technical concepts or decisions with diverse audiences.
• Attention to detail and quality to fulfill responsibilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, process/workflow and collaboration tools.

Salary and Compensation

#LI-Hybrid Base Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus eligibility, total compensation may include participation in long-term reward programs (typically for more senior-level roles). We also offer a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement contributions, health insurance, income protection, paid time off and leave benefits as well as well-being programs. Our total rewards offerings are influenced by several business factors, and eligibility for certain components will vary by position and geography. Please note the posted ranges do not apply outside the U.S. and should not be converted to other currencies as a proxy for compensation in other countries.
