Job summary

Sprezzatura is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the modernization of the VA’s Budget Tracking Tool. The role is hands-on, collaborating with VA stakeholders and technology teams to translate financial, operational, and data needs into implementation-ready requirements.

You will support the lifecycle from discovery to implementation, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of BA experience, strong facilitation and documentation skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as baseline or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of business analysis or requirements management experience
• Experience as a Senior BA or similar senior responsibilities
• Knowledge of Federal PPBE, budget/formulation/execution, financial management
• Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria
• Experience facilitating sessions with business and technical teams
• Experience in Agile delivery environments
• Familiarity with ERP/EPM or other configurable enterprise platforms
• Experience with system integrations, data mapping, reconciliation, data quality
• Proficient with Jira and Confluence
• VA or Federal Government exposure
• Ability to meet VA background/security requirements

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements workshops, interviews, and backlog refinement with VA stakeholders and teams
• Elicit, document, maintain business and system requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Translate complex financial, operational, data requirements into actionable OneStream configurations
• Clarify requirements with stakeholders and technical teams to resolve gaps
• Support integration requirements, data rules, mappings, and exception handling
• Ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and ready for sprints/releases
• Maintain requirements documentation in Jira, Confluence, and program repositories
